Tell them that you'd like them to rate the house for the hazard of "Excess Cold". I can pretty much guarantee that this will come out as a category one hazard. WebI’m in a similar situation. When my husbands grandparents died, we decided to buy their home. Despite the fact that we paid above market value for it on insistence of his aunts/uncles because “we should pay for the opportunity to buy such a good property”, they took all the valuables and left 50 years worth of junk for us (me) to deal with.
