The green cats I had melted after 2 twenty minute sessions. G sport by GESI has some that are rated at 1200 hp per cat but again I don’t know if they would hold up on track. I could see the price difference being driven by bureaucratic crap (certification) alone with no actual material difference. And who do you call to find out. The folks that make the GESI cat will blow plenty of hot air.

The heat generated by a supercharged engine can lead to cat melt down, may never happen, but the risk is real.
