WebTaylor et al reported that 14 out of the 34 cases had gram-positive bacilli, recognizable as coryneform bacteria, in histological sections. The C kroppenstedtii was also isolated from a breast abscess by the study of Riegel et al. [ 34 ] There have been few reports on the mechanisms of IGM caused by Corynebacterium.
