WebJan 13, 2015 · Recent studies reveal that circular RNAs (circRNAs) are a novel class of abundant, stable and ubiquitous noncoding RNA molecules in animals. Comprehensive detection of circRNAs from high-throughput transcriptome data is an initial and crucial step to study their biogenesis and function. WebA computational cross-validation and experimental validations demonstrated that our method performed favorably compared to existing circRNA detection tools. We created a standalone tool, CircRNAFisher, to implement the method, which might be valuable to computational and experimental scientists studying circRNAs.
